Getting the same error when trying the ShockWave mode
I have the same problem, all other mods are working well, but this one I can't start, the same error on start...what can be the problem?

DeleteI have the original Zero Hour and that’s the only one works on my end.
Try to delete dbghelp file from Zero Hour main directory and set your resolution in option.ini file.
DeleteI have read in other posts to uninstall all old versions if any and have uninstalled my Zero Hour and deleted all and everything related from registers.
DeleteNo luck. Getting the same error on Phantom Rises and Shockwave mods.

OK! Got success!
Delete1. Installed the original Zero Hour back.
2. Launched the .exe file one time for it to run. Didn’t change anything in options and exited the game.
3. Downloaded the Shockwave mode and basically replaced only the content in the original folder.
4. Launched the original .exe and I’m in!!!
Going to try the same with Phantom Rises. Hope this helps.

DeleteBy far my favorite mode when it comes to Artwork, Design and overall detail quality.
I play it in high resolution on 5k monitor and I must say the best picture out of all mods. I like that the world is showing kind of with smoke around, it's not super clean which makes it more realistic effect. I'm sure you guys have noticed that weird square line on the top left corner of the screen. Not sure if it was meant to place a toolbar or something, but it looks weird.
Cons: as like others have mentioned lots of small glitches here and there.
For example: It shows the USA Sniper unit under general's promotion though I was able to train Sniper from the beginning without the promotion.
Biggest Cone: In Skirmish the Hard Army isn't hard at all. Not sure if the option isn't working or what, but for example the ShockWave mode Hard Army is giving you hell while in this mode the Hard Army plays like the Easy Army in the original version. I'm sure this mode has more potential than others and all these issues are fixable.
Please let me know if need more details or feedback.
Can you give us a link without original game on it, just this mod? Maybe this will fix the problem?

ReplyDeletehello team, thank you team, this mod is very interesting and amazing, I have installed and played this game, units in tanks, fighter planes and warships and soldiers there are some features that they are very strong and very weak defense, in some missions in challenges and skirmish, can't show victory even though the enemy has destroyed the building and its people but the mission has not declared complete and won. it's very strange for me to use this MODS. maps also can't all be played, just starting the game it's already declared game over. and there are still many irregularities and oddities. for me these are unique and amazing Mods.

ReplyDeleteSo I got it to work using the GenLauncher, selecting add mod and then selecting the above download files and launch the game. There does seem to be some issues with the mod like the phalanx with the airforce general not doing damage at certain ranges.

ReplyDeletebefore Ur playing game U can reduce speed in monitor indication bar 15~unlimited speed as per Ur PC or laptop type High and or low and(i3,i5,i7 or i9, with Ur VGA card). select by sliding the bar to the right then the game will move faster, or slide it to the left then the value will be smaller with a minimum of 15 then the game will be slow

DeleteDoes anyone know how to unlag this mod? I play other mods with no lag and full or capped fps and no lag, this mod only is lagging terribly and units won't move in multiplayer... In skirmish i get 15 fps and the units at least will lag a bit less and move but still barely playable due to the terrible lag... Any ideas? I'm running i7 12700k / rtx3080 / 32gb ram, tried new install as well as my main mods ZH install.
